This international research school is organized at the initiative of the working group «Entreprise Communicante et Interopérabilité» of french research institute CNRS (GDR I3 (Information-Interaction-Intelligence) and GDR MACS (Modélisation, Analyse et Conduite des Systèmes dynamiques)). Ontologies have been presented since long time as silver bullets for interoperability. This research school overall scientific objective is, through presentations, discussions, and panels to highlight how effective is this assertion. Scientific presentations and “success stories” will show how far (or near ?) we are from interoperability through ontologies.
